(Tour code: WTE-137)
Winemaking in Denmark is relatively new, with interesting local vineyards emerging due to climate change. Cool-climate grape varieties like Solaris and Rondo thrive in Denmark’s temperate climate. Danish wineries primarily produce white, rosé, and sparkling wines. Though small, the industry is growing, focusing on organic and sustainable practices.
On this tour, we will visit one of the largest wineries in the country. You will learn more about the different grape varieties, planting methods, pruning, and techniques used to make first-class wines. Before the tour starts, a delicious 2-course lunch and two different wines produced by the winery will be served.
