Wander along peaceful forest trails and open meadows where over 2,000 free-roaming deer graze gracefully — a breathtaking sight!

At the heart of the park, marvel at the stunning Hermitage Palace, the King’s 18th-century hunting lodge perched elegantly atop the hill. Its stately charm and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape create the perfect photo moment.

After the walk, you may settle in for a gourmet lunch at a charming local restaurant, where Danish hospitality and seasonal flavors meet in a cozy setting or enjoy own lunch box.

The journey continues at the Open Air Museum’s Christmas Market, where time slows down and old Danish traditions come to life. Browse handmade crafts, taste festive treats, and enjoy live theatre performances — or perhaps take a nostalgic horse carriage ride through the market’s quaint village lanes.

9.00 Meet our guide at Copenhagen Central Station entrance (facing Tivoli garden).

9.40 Guided walk starts at Klampenborg, through Dyrehave to Hermitage Palace

12.00 Danish set lunch (optional) or enjoy own lunch box. You may also pre-order picnic basket with sandwiches and fruits.

13.00 Depart from Dyrehave

14.00 Arrive Open Air Museum Christmas market, free time to explore the stalls, enjoy the atmosphere

16.00 Depart from the Christmas market

17.00 Return to Copenhagen at meeting point.
