Forest & Glass Art

Walk through 3,2 km lush forest, the path is covered in wood board, senior friendly and possible for wheelchair user to get to the 45 meter (148 feet) high Forest Tower, a unique architecture. On the top of the tower, 140 meter above sea level you get a stunning view of forest and fields. On a clear day you can see all the way to Copenhagen and Malmo. The wooden playground is great fun for children.

We will have a break with delicious traditional Danish lunch in a place dated back to 1824 and has historical connection to H.C. Andersen.

The tour continues to Holmegaard Værk that has a unique collection of 42,000 pieces of glass and 6,000 pieces of Kahler ceramics. You will see skilled glassworkers demonstrate the process of art-craftsmanship in the old hot shop.

Optional: design and decorate your own glass/vase/bottle in the creative workshop, great fun for all ages (payable directly to Holmegaard shop).
