Walk through 3,2 km lush forest, the path is covered in wood board, senior friendly and possible for wheelchair user to get to the 45 meter (148 feet) high Forest Tower, a unique architecture. On the top of the tower, 140 meter above sea level you get a stunning view of forest and fields. On a clear day you can see all the way to Copenhagen and Malmo. The wooden playground is great fun for children.
The tour continues to Holmegaard Værk that has a unique collection of 42,000 pieces of glass and 6,000 pieces of Kahler ceramics. You will see skilled glassworkers demonstrate the process of art-craftsmanship in the old hot shop. You can try out your creativity designing and decorate your own glass/vase/bottle in the creative workshop, it’s great fun for all ages.
These two unique places are great for both adults and children, laying ground for a memorable family tour.
Holmegaard Glass museum is closed on Mondays in Jan-May and Sep-Dec.
