Wine & Hike

1 Day

Hiking in UNESCO Global Geopark with magnificent views across Sejero Bay and Nekselo Bay. Passing Vejrhoj Arch created during Ice Age about 15,000 years ago, 121 meter above sea level, the third highest point in Zealand. The about 8 kms hike is in varying terrain, through hilly grass land, field, forest and road. On this trail we will also go along the coast and to Dragsholm Castle, one of Denmark’s oldest castles, dating back to around year 1215 and today house a Michelin star restaurant. Beside the fantastic view, there are many beautiful houses with thatched roofs along the route.

About 3 km through the hike, we take a well-deserved break! Enjoy a traditional Danish lunch and refreshment Dragsholm Castle.

After lunch we continue the hike to visit a local vinery, overlooking the beautiful hills and ocean. Meet the couple cultivating the land with passion, making certified organic wines, learn about the different plant varieties and to taste the refreshing wines before we continue to last part of the route through Vejrhoj Arch and return to Copenhagen.
