This tour combines tasting of organic Danish wines in the beautiful South coast of Zealand and enjoy fantastic seafood buffet with a wide variety of over 70 disheses: lobster, oyster (fresh and baked), crab, shrimps, fish – one of the biggest seafood buffet in Denmark.
We visit a local winery with 25000 vines, in the backdrop a beautiful farmhouse and open landscape, view to the sea. We take a tour around the vine field, hear the story and of course get to taste 4 different wines.
The tour continues to the seafood restaurant located near the sea.
Winemaking in Denmark is relatively new, with interesting local vineyards emerging due to climate change. Cool-climate grape varieties like Solaris and Rondo thrive in Denmark’s temperate climate. Danish wineries primarily produce white, rosé, and sparkling wines. Though small, the industry is growing, focusing on organic and sustainable practices. Read more about winemaking in Denmark here.
